Landscape Costs & Pricing
Here at Linden Leaf Landscapes, we pride ourselves on being upfront, honest and fair. Many larger landscaping companies will not even talk to you about a job that is less than $10,000. They might also try to upsell you on items you don’t need or push you to sign a contract before you are sure about your decision.
We see things very differently. Our first goal is to design a landscape to fit your needs and budget, not our own personal aspirations. We give free consultations and a verbal estimate at the time of meeting. From there, if the estimated price is agreeable, we will provide a written proposal with line item prices for individual parts of the landscape design. Clients can pick and choose these items at will, we want you to get exactly what you want.
Once written confirmation of the proposal is received, clients are moved onto our job list in the order that confirmation was received. Wait times may vary drastically throughout the season but are typically between one to six weeks. The longest it has ever been is three months.
Payments are half upfront at the start of a job and half at completion.
Certain items have a calculable cost based on square footage and are as follows:
- Permeable flagstone patios and paths: $20/sq. Ft.
- These are the most common patios and consist of a foundation of compacted breeze with breeze in the joints. Price is for buff stone, any other stone is more expensive based on the product.
- Mortared flagstone patio and path: $45/sq. Ft.
- Foundation of 3″ concrete with flagstones set into mortar on top with mortar in the joints.
- Grass removal: $3/ sq. ft.
- Sod installation: $6/ sq. ft
